Photography
Photography is one of my favorite subjects because it allows me to explore creativity while learning technical skills. In class, we dive deep into camera settings, lighting techniques, and composition principles to capture the perfect shot. We also get hands-on experience with different types of photography, such as portraits, product photography and landscapes. Throughout the semester, we complete various assignments that challenge us to refine our skills and experiment with new styles.

Here you can have a look on my photos.
For this photography project, we had to create a staged word featuring the letters “EI” to connect with the theme of an egg. The composition creatively integrates egg-shaped structures, emphasizing the concept in a visually engaging way.

While taking a walk, I discovered this beautiful tree and immediately thought it would be perfect for my spring series.
It’s fresh leaves and delicate blossoms captured the essence of the season, creating a sense of renewal and warmth.
The soft lighting and vibrant colors made the scene feel alive, highlighting the beauty of nature’s awakening.

Architecture

This architectural photograph was designed to create a moody and atmospheric effect.
Using a low-angle perspective, also known as the frog’s perspective, I aimed to emphasize the structure’s grandeur and presence.
The sunlight plays a key role in enhancing the mood, casting dynamic shadows and highlights that bring depth and warmth to the image.
This architectural photograph was taken with a documentary approach, focusing on accuracy and clarity.
The goal was to capture the building in a neutral and precise way, ensuring that the vertical lines remain undistorted. To achieve this, I carefully adjusted the camera angle and settings, avoiding perspective distortion while maintaining the true proportions of the structure.

Portraits

This portrait was created using Hollywood glamour lighting, specifically the butterfly lighting technique.
This setup places the main light directly above and centered on the subject, creating a distinct butterfly-shaped shadow under the nose.
The effect enhances facial features, emphasizing cheekbones and adding a dramatic, elegant touch.
This portrait was created using Rembrandt lighting, a technique known for its dramatic and artistic effect.
The key characteristic of this setup is the small, triangular patch of light on the shadowed side of the face, just below the eye.
This effect is achieved by positioning the main light at an angle, allowing the nose’s shadow to connect with the cheek’s shadow.

Macro photo

I took this photo with a macro lens to highlight the small details of the daisy.
I spent a long time searching for the perfect lighting mood and used a flash to enhance the textures and depth.
This photo was taken with a macro lens to capture the intricate details of the crocus flowers.
The delicate petals, vibrant yellow stamens, and fine textures become more visible through close-up photography. The soft natural lighting enhances the colors and creates a gentle, dreamy atmosphere.
The blurred background adds depth, making the flowers stand out as the focal point.
